New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) proposes new NJ Protecting Against Climate Threats (NJPACT) Rules

Dynamic Responds to the NJDEP during the public comment period

Coastal homes potentially affected by new regulations

In August 2024, NJDEP proposed a nearly complete overhaul of their land use regulations, affecting the Flood Hazard Area Control Act Rules, Coastal Zone Management Rules, Freshwater Wetlands Rules, and Stormwater Management Rules, among others.  The changes proposed will have a significant impact on land development throughout the State of New Jersey.  The NJDEP is currently targeting a July 2025 adoption date for their changes.

As part of this rule making process, Dynamic’s Stormwater/NJDEP Land Use Leadership Group reviewed the 1,000+ page proposal and generated a detailed commentary letter to the NJDEP to challenge various aspects of the changes.  Our detailed commentary is featured below.

If you have questions as to how the proposed rule changes could impact your current or future land development projects or if you would like to discuss the opportunity to ‘grandfather’ your project under the current rules prior to the potential rule adoption, do not hesitate to contact one of our numerous New Jersey offices.

Dynamic Engineering named as one of the top places to work in NJ by NJBIZ for the 6th Straight Year

What makes a company one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey? It could be one of many things, from work/life balance to salary and benefits, but something each one of this year’s winners shares is a focus on their employees and their professional environment. These companies’ concern for those in their employ is reflected in the surveys workers filled out that serve as a key factor in determining the Best Places to Work, along with an employer benefits and policies questionnaire.

Best Places to Work in New Jersey is managed by Best Companies Group, a sister company of NJBIZ. The companies will be ranked and honored at a special ceremony April 26, 2017 at iPlay America’s Event Center in Freehold.

Winners are initially announced alphabetically, in two categories: small and medium-sized businesses, and large businesses.

At the ceremony, a final ranking will be unveiled, and the New Jersey business community will learn not just which are the Best Places to Work, but which ones are the very best in 2017.
