Patrick Downey serves as a Principal with Dynamic Traffic, with extensive experience in the field of traffic engineering and consulting for private and public projects.

Mr. Downey takes pride in effective communication and coordination with clients, project teams, and reviewing agencies, all while delivering high quality engineering services.  Patrick is responsible for preparing traffic and parking studies, roadway improvement plans, traffic signal designs, and highway access permitting applications.  He also regularly provides expert testimony before Planning and Zoning Boards in support of his client’s wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial land development projects.

Within the public sector, Mr. Downey performs on-call traffic engineering services, corridor studies, traffic signal designs, and traffic calming and pedestrian safety evaluations for numerous Counties and Municipalities. 

Mr. Downey holds a Professional Engineering License in the State of New Jersey as well as certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.  Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rowan University.
